Medication adherence is one of the most consequential variables in a course of treatment, and historically one of the least visible. Once a patient leaves the clinic, providers depend on self‑reporting and follow‑up appointments — information that arrives late, incompletely, or not at all.
We integrated healthcare hardware with a web platform through webhook‑based communication. The devices monitor whether a patient has taken their prescribed medication and emit an adherence event the moment it occurs. The platform receives that event instantly, processes it in real time, and updates the patient’s dashboard without delay, allowing providers to monitor compliance remotely and intervene while it still makes a difference.
The architecture was deliberately built to be vendor‑agnostic. Device‑specific behaviour is isolated behind a normalised event contract, so the platform is not coupled to any single manufacturer. Connecting an additional healthcare technology or medical device is a matter of adapting to that contract rather than reworking the core system — new vendors and hardware providers can be onboarded with minimal engineering effort.
Healthcare interoperability is a core specialisation of our engineering team. We welcome integration work involving new healthcare technologies, APIs, IoT devices, and third‑party medical systems, and we are glad to discuss how an existing device or platform could be connected.
